The Princess Tee

This children’s sweater features a romantic puff sleeve with gathering at the shoulder and a placket opening in the back neck for an easy pull-over design. The sweater is constructed from the top down as a set-in sleeve with short row shaping on the sleeve caps. The basic design leaves room for customization in the length and possible colorwork on the front of the sweater. Perfect for spring, use a light washable yarn with a touch of cashmere for soft elegance.

Shown in Knit Picks Capretta Superwash in Pinot Heather (80% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon) gauge of 28 sts and 34 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch on size US 3 needles. The pattern includes sizes 6 month to 5T (shown in size 12 month) and requires 2-4 skeins, 50 g each. A schematic is included in the pattern to help with finished sizing.

This double basket weave hat looks great on baby, toddler (child), or adult. A gender neutral beanie with a very stretchy pattern that conforms to any head size, customizable length, and can be blocked to desired dimensions. This hat is great for beginners with knit and purl stitches worked in the round following a simple chart creating a fun texture and design. Teddy's Baby Blanket

Knit a matching hat and blanket set! A reversible baby blanket in expandable basketweave that matches the Over-Under-Through beanie. Perfect for beginners with a series of knit and purl stitches to create interesting texture and a cute pattern for either a baby boy or girl. Use a garter stitch border and adjust dimensions by increasing CO stitches by a multiple of 18. My finished dimensions are stroller size 25" x 30" after blocking but you can customize to any desired size you like. Knit on US Size 5 needles in the same yarn as the beanie. My pattern includes written instructions and is FREE on my site.

Heather & Violet's Mossy Slouch

A slouchy hat with folded brim, all over moss stitch pattern and a decorative pom pom.

This hat features a permanently folded brim by picking up and knitting the cast-on row with working stitches. The fold provides extra warmth without extra adjustments for the fold. Beautiful texture from moss stitch is maintained in crown shaping. Don’t forget the pom pom, it adds a fun finishing touch to the slouchy hat! Matching hats for mommy and baby!

One size fits most with finished circumference of 21-23” for adult and 17-19” for baby/toddler (12-36 months). Make sure to check gauge with moss stitch before beginning and use size needles to obtain gauge. Customizing options are included within pattern.

Yarn used in the hat seen on the model is Caron Simply Soft Eco (100% acrylic) but any worsted weight acrylic blend would work perfectly for this hat. Can be knit using one skein with enough yarn for both hats for a Mommy and Me set.

Violet's Baby Mittens

Knit a set of matching mittens for baby! Use any leftover yarn from the mossy slouch hat to make baby mittens to keep those little hands warm. Knit on double pointed needles US size 6 these will take you a day to finish. Get the free pattern here on my site.

Tumbling with Grace

This blanket pattern features large three dimensional blocks consisting of knit and purl stitches so they appear to be stacked or tumbling. It is a completely reversible pattern with a garter stitch border that is great for any level knitter. Stroller size is perfect for wrapping around a baby while in a car seat or stroller or laying on the floor for tummy time. Baby will love the texture of the knit blocks! As baby gets older it can be used as a toddler security blanket and is great for boy or girl. By using slightly larger needles with sport weight yarn, the blanket is light and drapes easily while keeping baby warm.

The stroller size is approximately 30 x 35” but as a blanket finished sizes may vary slightly. Requires approximately 3 skeins of sport weight acrylic yarn.
